We leave from Salice Terme with our bicycles, leading to Costa Vescovato, the country where Fausto Coppi was born. There we’ll see Fausto Coppi’s house and the mausoleum dedicated to him. The round trip is 35 km long with some slopes of 14%

We go through the bucolic countryside of Oltrepo pavese rich of vineyards, up and down the hills. The same roads Fausto Coppi was used to go through during his childhood first and then as champion

Then we reach Costa Vescovato

In this land time seems to have stopped. The quiet hills are rich of vineyards, big fields and some farms. There are more bicycles than cars, sometimes a tractor passes by. In this land people are quiet like this countryside, no rush hours.

A beautiful day in a beautiful land, respected and worked with tradition and wisdom
