WELLCOME AT BICYCLE MUSEUM

Ciclisti da sempre and Ciclismo in Rosa have been by cyclist museum in Cosseria, a village in the province of Savona, not far from Cairo Montenotte, on the north side of Apennines of Liguria.

The museum, in front of San Rocco Church, is located in the area named Bosi. Luciano Berruti was born in Cosseria, he’s been fond of bycicles and cyclism since he was child



He takes part of Eroica di Gaiole in Chianti, a cyclist manifestation which goal is to protect ancient roads of cyclism. Many cyclists and participants from all the world take part of Eroica, where also exhibitions, shows, markets are organized



In 1999 Berruti he’s been involved in cycling vintage, he collected byclicles and many important memorabilia





In Februar 2010 the cycling Museum in Cosseria has been inaugurated



During his cycling career Luciano won 450 races. Among his heroic deeds we remind Mortirolo 1999 with bycicle vintage Griffon, weight kg 15; 2000 Alpe d’Huez, 2001 Col d’Izoard with Peugeut of 1916; 2002 Parigi-Roubaix with Peugeut 1916; Fiandre tour, Gavia tour, Dolomiti tour. He participated at so many races, it’s possible to see all races in web site www.veloretro.it
He was appointed ambassador of sport by municipality of Cosseria and honorary Citizen of Gaiole di Chianti, in the province of Siena, where Eroica race is organizated.

Berruti is also testimonial of Etoile d’Argent, association run by his friend Patrick Joret. The association raises funds to save from dystonia

Luciano Berruti is an unique character, a man out of time, fond of bicycles, who helps to write history
